Q: What is Happy Hour?Once you have reached the 90 minute mark, you may offer your Guests an hourly session of Video Chat at a reduced rate. You will be paid a flat fee of $6 per hour long Happy Hour session, even if no one enters your Video Chat room! If you are a Hall of Fame Host, you will be paid a flat fee of $12 for one hour. Guests enter your Happy Hour Video Chat at a reduced per minute fee. Guests will continue to pay that fee for the entire duration of their interaction with you, until you or they end the conversation. If you continue to Video Chat for any amount of time after your Happy Hour has ended, the Guests who were in your Happy Hour Video Chat will continue to pay the Happy Hour fee. Anyone who joins your Video Chat AFTER your Happy Hour has ended will pay your regular per minute fee. Some Guests may receive Happy Hour Credit as a bonus for buying ImLive credit or for promotional purposes. Guests who receive Happy Hour Credit will be able to spend this Credit ONLY during Happy Hour. When their Happy Hour Credit is used up, they will continue to pay for Happy Hour with ImLive Credit. Happy Hour Credit can not be used to continue a session that was started during Happy Hour.

You can continue Video Chatting in your original category as you go through the application process. Once Customer Service has approved your Role Play profile, you can join the Role Play category again with the same exact title, description and photo without being reviewed. If you make any changes to your title, description or photo you will need to resubmit your application for review.
When you disconnect from your Video Chat room, you will automatically be moved back to your original category with your original Main Snapshot and Description. If you would like to return to the Role Play category, you can start Video Chatting from the Role Play page again.

To Start a Free Live Video Chat
On top of your Video Chat room screen, there is a button, Enter Free Live Video Chat. Click on it to enter Free Live Video Chat mode. In addition, as a quick link into the Free Live Video Chat mode, we have added a pop-up message, which appears in your Video Chat room when you go online.
You'll be available for Live Video Chat either by clicking the Enter Free Live Video Chat button or by clicking "Yes" in the pop up message. You will then be able to chat with selected ImLive Members and curious visitors coming in from external sites (through affiliate banners).
If you don't want the pop up message to be displayed at the beginning of your Video Chat session, check the checkbox at the bottom of the pop up message. This will disable the pop up message. Note that the pop up message will display again at the beginning of your Video Chat session only if you choose to change your Video Chat mode from Regular mode to Free mode or vice versa. Thus, the next time you go online in your Video Chat room, the pop up message will be displayed.
Please note, checking the checkbox at the bottom of the pop up message ("Don't show me this message again") affects the mode you are in on your next Video Chat session. Meaning, the last Video Chat mode you selected through the pop-up message (free or regular), will be the mode you will enter automatically the next time you enter Video Chat. Unless you changed your selection manually in the previous session by pressing on the button Enter Free Video Chat/Back to Regular Mode, then your default mode will start in Regular Video Chat Mode.

What can I do with my Guest Files?
ImLive's Guest Files system lets you manage your guests' statistics and communicate directly with your guests through targeted online messages. Once you learn and gather information about guests in your files, you can send individual guests a personal online message that appears as an icon next to your profile in the Host List. This message icon will draw your guest's attention and make your profile stand out from all the other hosts.
Your Guest Files also allow you to write notes about your guests. The Notes tool lets you store any information about your guest you may want to remember for the future, like what kind of service he or she enjoyed. You can then refer to your notes next time your guest enters your room (by clicking the Guest Info button in your Video Chat room) or when you want to send a personal online message. What are Online Messages?
Online Messages are personal invitations you can send to your guests to enter your Video Chat room when you are both online. When you create and submit a message, your guest will see a blinking icon next to your profile in the Host List alerting them that they have received a message from you. They will be able to read your message by entering your profile and also right before Video Chatting with you. Online messages are active for 48 hours from the moment they appear in your profile. You can use the Online Message folder to search for Guests according to their online status.
A: Video Chat with your Guests from different rooms in your house and give them the ultimate Video Chat experience. You'll still be able to chat live from your bedroom, but now you can also perform from your kitchen, bathroom, shower, living room, home office, and even your laundry room.
How it Works:
In the Video Chat room there's a new drop-down box where you can set your location. Your room will automatically appear in your profile and on the Host List. You'll have an icon showing what room you're in and members will be able to search for you by a specific room using the Narrow Your Search tool, giving you more exposure. You will need to select a room every time you log on to Video Chat, otherwise you will appear in 'Undefined' as a default. Hosts who are in the 'Undefined' category will not appear to members in the Around the House page so please make sure that you have your room selected. You can move from room to room by selecting a new room from the drop down menu.
When you select a specific room, a pop-up will appear allowing you to take a snapshot for that room. This snapshot will replace your main snapshot every time you choose to Video Chat from that room. You can also change the snapshot each time you choose to chat from a specific room.
